It is with utmost pride that we announce the recognition of our very own, Mrs. Mavi Sokia Isibor as a worthy awardee by the national body of Coalition of Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders of Nigeria (CENYLON). On Thursday, 11th November, 2021.
The founder and Executive Vice-Chairman of Poise Nigeria received the prestigious award from the youth platform for her doggedness and selfless contribution towards the betterment of our country and the well-being of its youth, this she has done without any special considerations, without discriminations of any kind.
Good work they say never goes unnoticed, that is why it is no surprise that Mrs. Mavi was deemed fit to be awarded by an organisation that is solely focused on achieving unity and peaceful coexistence among the many ethnic groups in Nigeria by first uniting the youth.
The body, (CENYLON) is saddled with the philosophy and core values of fostering and promoting peace and unity among the existing ethnic nationality youths in the country with the view to encourage and sustain national integration, peaceful coexistence and ethnic harmony for one Nigeria and also, to encourage intercultural and religious tolerance, to recognize and Award Good Leadership, and to support the programmes and policies of the government for nation-building.
The Coalition also advocates against the Menace of Drug abuse, Vandalism, Cultism in the various higher institutions and localities, terrorism and Banditry, Kidnappings and other social vices that are inimical to the progress and development of the Nation.
Mrs. Mavi Sokia Isibor is undoubtedly an icon when it comes to women and youth empowerment in Nigeria so, it is no surprise that she has gotten this recognition alongside notable individuals like Faruk Mohammed, Chimezie Nwokoro, Phalilat Ibrahim, Usman Zulaiyat, Ahmed Ibrahim and Sunday Billy.
